I could quit my job and care for my mother full time.
It would totally transform my life, but not necessarily for the better.
I read occasionally about these little old ladies that live in virtual squallor and when their estates are probated people learn they were millionaires. I wonder how many of those answering, "it would leave my life almost unchanged," are in that category? ;)
Or they may be big old men, living in comfort, with enough money to support their modest wants. And if they won such a sum would share it among their children.
...make me feel really good.
Wow! I am surprised at the results so far. With that amount, I could buy a house big enough for my family (4 of us), my parents, and my mother-in-law to all live in comfortable. All my debt would be paid off. And I would still have money left over to be able to live off just the interest and my husbands salary. I guess, I'm amazed that people believe that it would make a small difference or not change their life. For me, even half of that would totally change my life.
