What's the point? Once it's over, it's over. Bad mouthing your ex will do you harm more than it will harm your ex. Too much stress! Just get over it.
Most people will want to know why a relationship ended and noone will say because he is such a fantastic person - these are his best qualities etc.
You will surely state what went wrong and what you did not like about that person which is why the relationship ended. So its not really that you make it your mission to go out and badmouth the person.
Never. And if someone is digging for dirt I just say nice things. Sappy, huh? It doesn't matter in the long run.
I've said some very nasty things about my abusive ex boyfriend because, well... he was abusive and there's a lot of people who think he's still attractive/a good person/etc. I don't go out of my way to badmouth, him, though - only if people ask.
