Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love.

Why do you have to be so mean? i want to know what other people have been through and what they have done to deal with it!! it helps hearing about other people who feel the same way as you!! And if you dont want to be nice then dont say anythingwhen i ask questions! Thanks!!
What a strange question. Sure, at times it sucks, but that doesn't mean we should hate it, per se.
Then again, hate and love are simply different sides of the coin. They are closely related, not opposite sides of a spectrum. Theoretically speaking, the opposite of love would be indifference. Hate still takes up just as much time in the forefront of your mind as love, and you spend just as much energy hating something as loving it.
Completely off topic. Wow.
Wasn't off topic. Valid comment, well placed.
Hon, I know it is important to you, but to everyone over 25 some of these questions are a little sophomoric. And yes, we were all like this at your age, and yes, someone along the line told us "enough already".
It would probably be wiser to stop asking everyone what you should think and feel and go out there and figure it out yourself.
How do you know how old i am??
