Wow, there's that liberal negativity again. You should try to smile, take a deep breath, and realize it's ALL GOING TO BE OK. Really. You should also consider converting to conservatism, where the sky isn't falling and the glass is full, not empty.

Your glass is half-assed, like your dear leader.

So Bob, you messed up, stating that her leader is half-a**ed means that you believe that April's leader and April are half-right.
Gosh, livelett, what is it with you and misunderstanding idioms?!
"Half-assed": (ADJ) Vulgar Slang
1. Not well planned or executed.
2. Incompetent.
Sounds like the GOP ticket to me...
> misunderstanding idioms
Willful ignorance, gateway drug to hypocrisy. Rampant among right-wingers this year. They're going to need a support group when this is all over.
lol, but do republicans and pseudo-independents really need a gateway drug to become hypocrites? I reckon it's required to be in the club. They can take a nice holiday with the tax money they get back under Obama's plans.
What tax money ? I thought all Republicans were rich....they will be taxed more because they make more than $250,000 (Obama), and since they are so patriotic they would be happy to pay more taxes (Biden), not less

English is my second language, and I learned proper English, and respect for others, so vulgarity, cussing and swearing, and name calling is not something I was taught. Generalizations of a group of people that can only be characterized by an individual in only derogatory terms is not my forte, it certainly seems to be several participants on this site. I was taught that we are individuals and are unique. I don't believe that when you tell me to think of the children, you mean for me to emulate what I've seen in these last few comments [by you, waugs and BobUs] on learning intolerance, vulgarity, swearing, and disrespect of a person because of their beliefs.
Just because you weren't taught it, is no reason to hold it against others. I don't voluntarily limit my language choices. I choose to use everything that's available to me. Words are words, and indignation about particular groups of letters is absurd and meaningless.
April's leader? Would that be GWB? Norman? Jonapril? Seapoochie? Can you give us a little detail here?
Full of what? Alcohol to fill the void where your heart should be?

That was a really insightful comment. Wow.... I am in the presence of greatness
I wasn't trying to be insightful. Actually, I was hoping to make a remark as inane as april's unsurprising anti-liberal one, but I failed. Just can't be unoriginal as her, I guess. You come close though, so well done.

No --- your comment was not inane, it was downright derogatory, just as bad as if I stated that all irish are alcoholics. ....I guess my earlier comment's attempt at sarcasm was not clear enough for you, so here's my opinion, your credibility gets lost when "diss" people, if you made any attempt to refute April's comment besides stating that she has no heart, then my opinion of you would be different, and you actually may have something worthwhile to say.
April is the one obsessed with making ad hominem attacks against "socialists" (i.e. anyone who doesn't agree with her) and regularly refers to gay people as "sick" and "deviant". I think it is thus fair to label her as heartless (it's an idom, not a literal description, and hardly derogatory).
I wasn't suggesting she had an alcohol addiction and I certainly wasn't insulting an entire ethnic group so I fail to see your point about Irish alcoholics *hiccup*.
Her flailing out against liberals was unprovoked and I fully reserve the right to parry with the odd quip, clever or otherwise.
The fact that you didn't get that I got your sarcy tone is amusing.
And I really, really have no interest in what you think of me, and you are hardly one to talk about credibility. Please, instead, think of the children.
April is a troll. Time spent addressing his coments at all is time wasted.
So true, waugs. I thought it would help sharpen my wit, but sparring with GOP zombies just makes me lethargic.
Welcome to the club.
If you were this on point in school, you never passed an essay question.
True conservatives like Ron Paul don't seem to agree with you.
Expect - yes
