It is an unclear situation. It seems we are constantly negotiating moral issues with each other. Arguing to find truth. As a group we lay down rules. This to ensure constructive behaviour is rewarded and other than such, punished. The rules must be about ensuring the good of the neighbor. Not just the other. But the one next to you, and must (at least) share your fate.

Indeed the logic is inescapable. Any animal with a short enough life span will illustrate the obvious. It is this that has only recently been rendered obvious. That's the clever bit!
